Amethyst is a type of gem that grants a bonus to HP recovery.
This HP regen effect functions on a per-minute basis with the given value being recovered 1 point at a time during each minute. To put this into a formula where X = the given HP recovery value and Y = the time between each 1 point being recovered: 60/X = Y. If we have one piece of gear that has "+2 HP recovered", that means we regenerate 1 HP every 30 seconds. If we have one gear piece with "+10 HP recovered", that means that 1 HP is being recovered every 6 seconds.
The HP recovery effect is a single value that is modifed by all equipped gear with the effect (we can assume that a character's "HP recovered" value is set to 0 by default). This allows for a very high maximum rate of recovery:
- If the player has "+10 HP recovered" on all 10 pieces of equipped gear, that sets the player's "HP recovered" value to 100, with a formula that looks like this: 60/100 = 0.6. With an "HP recovered" value of 100, the character will be recovering 1 HP every 0.6 seconds. (Keep in mind, this is not the maximum "HP recovered" value possible)
Cracked Amethyst can be found in the Dungeon on any Level. It has a value of 2000 gold, a rarity of 900, and a fishing rarity of 940.
Amethyst can be found in the Dungeon beginning on Level 3. It has a value of 7000 gold, a rarity of 960, and a fishing rarity of 955.
Superior Amethyst can be found in the Dungeon beginning on Level 10. It has a value of 18000 gold, a rarity of 998, and a fishing rarity of 975.
There is no artifact version of Amethyst.
